Our commitment

Martin Masters Ltd wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology or need information in a different format.

Our accessibility target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. We have not yet completed a full assessment against that standard and do not claim full conformance.

Using this website

Our browser checks on 11 October 2026 confirmed the following on the pages and interactions tested:

  • The “Skip to content” link moved keyboard focus to the main content.
  • The mobile menu and full-size project photographs could be opened by keyboard and closed with Escape, with focus returned to the opening control.
  • The enquiry form had accessible field labels. An empty submission focused the first required field without sending an enquiry.
  • The tested pages fitted a narrow screen of 320 CSS pixels without horizontal page scrolling. The contact page also fitted the screen when its base text size was doubled.
  • The navigation menu’s animations were disabled when the browser was set to prefer reduced motion.

These results describe a focused check in Google Chrome. They do not establish that every page or interaction works with every browser or assistive technology.

Assessment and current limitations

On 11 October 2026 we checked the home, About, Projects, Contact and Privacy & cookies pages, plus the Willesden project page and its photograph viewer. The review used a clean Chrome session at desktop and mobile widths, automated accessibility checks and selected keyboard interactions.

The automated checks did not report confirmed WCAG violations on the stable pages tested. Automated checks cannot establish full accessibility conformance, and some items still need manual verification.

In particular, the home page’s slide-position announcement and text over project photographs need further screen-reader and contrast checks. We have not completed testing with screen-reader software, disabled users, other browser engines or a wider range of devices.

The enquiry form requires JavaScript for direct submission. If it does not work for you, email info@martinmasters.com with your enquiry.

We tested required-field validation without sending a live enquiry. Successful submission, service errors and subsequent messages have not been checked as part of this review.

If a project photograph or its description does not give you the information you need, please ask us for a description or further project details.

Linked third-party websites and documents supplied outside this website are not covered by this limited review.

Requesting information in another format

If you need information in a more accessible format, email info@martinmasters.com. Include the page or information you need and the format that would help, such as plain text or larger text.

We will discuss your request with you and consider a suitable format or another way to provide the information. You do not need to tell us a medical diagnosis.

Reporting an accessibility problem

Email info@martinmasters.com with the subject “Website accessibility”. Tell us which page you were using, what you were trying to do and what prevented you from doing it.

If you are comfortable sharing them, your browser, device and any assistive technology can help us investigate. We will review the problem and discuss a practical way to help you.

Reviewing this statement
